Dr Fatima Maatwk
Fatima Maatwk is a Researcher and Lecturer at Westminster Business School and a Student Partnerships Lecturer at the Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation, Westminster University. Fatima completed her doctoral research at Westminster Business School and did her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Economics and Business Administration, at Humboldt University to Berlin.
Prior to her academic career, Fatima worked in international development at both governmental and non-governmental organisations in Germany and Egypt. She worked on projects tackling public sector reform, alternative dispute resolution, human resources management, mediation, and negotiation. In her current capacity, Fatima’s research investigates diversity and inclusion with a focus on examining the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion management policies in both academic and non-academic settings. Her interests include social psychology, diversity & inclusion, decolonisation, intersectionality, and cross-cultural and gender studies.
